HR etc!! programs
integrate classroom instruction with experiential
learning techniques for maximum skill transference
and retention. Below is a listing of our current
programs.
Tapping into the Wisdom of the Ages
For
the first time in history, four generations are working side by side.
These generations are rewriting the rules and reinventing themselves
and most organizations are missing their cues. Having a mindset shift
that utilizes the best thinking from all ages and leverages opportunities
that can only come from cross-generational innovation, will allow senior
employees to develop a multi-generational team and create a strong
environment for developing careers and retaining talent. How will your
company plan for talent acquisition and retention of employees of the
current and upcoming generations?
These three interactive workshops explore the
changing workforce and what you can do to
ensure your organization and its employees are successful.
- Bridging the Gap: When Generations Collide
This workshop will create
awareness and understanding of what drives
attitudes that are prevalent at work today – what the impact
is on your organization. You will learn how
to attract and retain the talent you need.
Leaders in your organization will learn the impact generational “reference points” have
had on shaping the values, attitudes and behavior of their employees – and
they’re all different!
- Beyond the Gap: What to do with Colliding Generations
Beyond the Gap
takes a look at what you learned from “Bridging
the Gap” and applies it to your organization. This workshop will
help you win at competitive recruiting and
then “glue” your
new hires to you. You will learn how to foster
diversity within the organization, improve
communication and boost productivity and
work satisfaction.
- Engaging a Changing Workforce
Continuing to build on Bridging the Gap
and Beyond the Gap, Engaging a Changing Workforce
looks at the bottom line: It’s a new “game” so
there’s new rules and new roles.
In order to engage each of the four generations
to produce the results your organization
needs to sustain steady growth and profitability,
you need to know how to play! This workshop
will show you the demographic trends that
created this issue. It will give you an appreciation
of the four generations and provide you with
specific action items for adapting how you
work and manage your employees. Learn to:
- Reduce conflict,
- Dispel age stereotypes,
- Maximize
contributions, and
- Share knowledge

Discovering the Leader Within
This workshop
will help attendees understand "why people do what
they do." Each of us has developed a distinct way of thinking,
feeling and acting which becomes our behavioral
style. Our unique patterns distinguish us from
one another, and express our individual identities
just like our thumbprint. Attendees will discover strengths and weaknesses
of their behavioral style; and, define and refine their understanding
to influence others through behavior, values and attributes.

Wonders of Change
When you have a routine,
you know what to expect, and even if it’s
difficult or boring, it’s consistent and reliable. You have learned
how to do your work and deal with the people
who work with you. But when something changes, suddenly your routine
is broken and you no longer know what to expect. Studies show that
change, even positive change can be stressful. This workshop will show
attendees how to face very natural responses when faced with change
and help them understand that change is constant in today’s workplace.
It offers practical ways to manage emotions
during the change process and helps attendees realize these feelings
are normal and gives actionable steps for preparing
for and responding to change.

Becoming an Effective Team
Successful
team members don’t do the same thing
at the same time. They do the right thing
at the right time. And, while team members work together
toward a common goal, individuals still
must play their separate parts in the process.
This workshop will help team members’ understand
the importance of each role and furthers
their appreciation of each individual’s contribution. You
will learn to align your vision, mission
and goals with that of your superiors and evaluate and benchmark
your present team culture.

Getting it Right: The Employee Life Cycle
Learn
what is really involved
with attracting, recruiting, selecting, hiring
and retaining today’s employees. This structured
and scientific method of understanding and measuring
people performance lessens the risks of unfair human preferences and
gives everyone a clear benchmark to make decisions. These decisions
occur not just at the initial recruitment and selection stage of the
employee lifecycle but all through a person’s working life. Objective
assessment of performance and development potential will influence
their career path and help them to realize their true potential. And
when it’s time to move on,
objective assessment will help to pinpoint suitable
candidates for succession and help to smooth
the transition of people within teams and organizations.

Recruiting “First Who” Candidates
The need of an organization
to assemble the right team is nothing new.
However, it’s important
to first get the right people on the bus and the wrong people off the
bus before you figure out where to drive it. In this workshop, you’ll
realize if you begin with “who” instead of “what” your
employees can more easily adapt to change.
Managers and leaders will learn how to nearly eliminate the need
to motivate and manage their employees because they will be self-motivated
by their personal inner drive. You will understand the importance
of getting the wrong people off the bus. And finally, you will take
away a structured and scientific method of understanding and measuring
people performance to lessen the risks of unfair human preferences
and give everyone a clear benchmark to make decisions.
