Mary Kausch, president of HR etc!!, LLC, has a record of success and accomplishment in the field of human resources and organization development. As an independent human resource and organization development consultant for 20 years, she "helps good people produce great results" by providing consultation for increasing performance, leading and managing with purpose, employment practices and employer-employee relations for small and medium sized businesses, hospitals, universities and not-forprofit agencies.

One of Mary's specialties is her "generational knowledge", acquired from working with more than 13,000 employees across the United States in gaining knowledge and awareness of the generational "reference points" that have shaped the values, attitudes and behavior at work.

Mary also specializes in incorporating “experiential learning” into facilitated meetings and retreats, team building and management development workshops. She has designed exercises, activities and adventure experiences for clients to fully realize the behaviors required for "teams" and "effective management."

Mary has taught “Conducting Performance Appraisals” and “Fundamentals of Human Resources” for St. Louis Community College, has served as an adjunct instructor of Organizational Behavior at Purdue University in the School of Organizational Leadership and Supervision and taught “English as a Second Language” to Spanish speaking adults. In addition, she co-authored Benefits, Compensation and Other Perks, published by the Credit Union Executive Society and has written numerous articles.

With a degree in Human Resources and Business and Industrial Communications from Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, Mary has more than 27 years of hands-on human resource experience from positions with Citicorp, Whirlpool, and The Tecumseh Leadership Center, an experiential training and development facility for corporations, businesses and not for profit organizations. She is a Certified DiSC Trainer, qualified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and a Certified Consultant with the iWAM (Inventory for Work Attitude and Motivation).

Mary served as President of American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) St. Louis Chapter for two years, was the Chairperson of the St. Louis Region’s Organization Development Network (ODN) for seven years, is a member of the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) and Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She also serves on the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce Board. Mary is a past-President of the Meramec Valley Grotto caving club and has served on the Program Committee of the Board for the Coro Leadership Center.
