
At HR etc!! our meeting facilitators act as a neutral party that accepts responsibility to help your group accomplish a common task: to move through an agenda in the available time and make the necessary decisions and plans for implementation.
The facilitator does not make any decisions for the group but does suggest ways to help the group move forward. The participants know they are in charge, it is their business and each person has a role to play.
As meeting facilitators, HR etc!! will assist in planning and reviewing the agenda to ensure an outline of reasonable/achievable goals and expectations.
We will prearrange for each agenda item to be presented by someone different, ensuring group participation.
We will encourage the expression of various viewpoints and show how, if handled properly, different opinions can lead to creative solutions.
We will point out minor points of agreement.
We will encourage participants to look for fresh solutions and state them.
We will ask the participants to provide a meeting evaluation either at the end of or after the meeting and we will try to close the meeting on a positive note.
HR etc!! can also provide post meeting follow-up with individual team members, document and analyze meeting results, and help to set goals for future meetings.
